A bizarre incident from the Wesermarsch causes a stir! Around 40 years ago, more precisely at midnight, a drunk 22-year-old came to the police station in Nordenham and complained of unbearable toothache. But instead of getting help, he was quickly exposed as an alcoholic driver. The officials who perceived the smell of alcohol and noticed the hot moped of the man sent him to the hospital. There he was not only given a pain reliever, but also removed a blood sample that resulted in a value of 1.5 to 1.6 per thousand. The punishment for his stupidity? 875 D-Mark, which corresponds to around 957 euros today!
Another curious case in court
But that wasn't the only excitement! A 20-year-old man from Nordenham broke into a photo shop by smashing the shop window with a stone. While he was hiding, he grabbed other valuable devices. The next day he looked for help from a 21-year-old friend to hide the prey because he feared that the police were on his heels. But the hiding place ended in a disaster: the 20-year-old was caught when robbery of a clothing business and ended up in prison. His accomplice, which excavated the photo equipment, was also caught, while a 24-year-old who wanted to sell the devices was acquitted. A chaotic trio that kept the judiciary on a trot!
a puppy finds his luck
