The young man was finally found in front of a house at around 3:30 a.m. and safely brought back to his mother.

Investigations into incitement in Messingen

Another incident occurred on the first Christmas day in the Emsland brass, where guests are said to have sung xenophobic slogans at a public celebration. This led to the investigation of the police on suspicion of sedition, as NDR Niedersachsen reported. Guests are said to have re -reduced the song "L’Amour Toujours" by DJ Gigi d’Agostino with the provocative line "Germany the German - Foreigners out". The host of the restaurant, Joachim Thünemann, was outraged and complained that he could not get a further indication of the perpetrators, which is why he made a complaint against unknown persons.

The police investigations are now focusing on the exact wording and their criminal relevance. Mayor Ansgar Mey made it clear that he did not believe that citizens from brassen were involved, since external guests also attended the celebration. Thünemann points out that he wants an increased civil courage and is already planning strategies for future events to prevent such incidents. The police also ask witnesses and possible video material owners to report to advance the investigation.
