Tears and destruction: Tropical storm Trami overruns the Philippines!

The tropical storm "Trami" left devastating traces in the Philippines and the number of fatalities has increased to 36! The main island of Luzon is particularly affected, where the active Vulkan Mayon became a real nightmare for the population not only through its activities, but also through massive rainfall. Sludge avalanches buried numerous houses and vehicles in the Bicol region, while the water in the province of Albay was meter high. Tragically, many people died because they drowned, met by falling trees or were buried by the landslides.

A total of over 2.65 million people suffer from the direct consequences of the storm, and almost 320,000 people had to flee from their large or small home sites. The full mobilization of the military and all available resources is arranged to help people in need. Weather experts assume that "Trami" will soon leave the Philippines.
