Last Sunday, October 6, 2024, a devastating fire broke out in an impressive warehouse of a waste disposal company in Bardowick, in the district of Lüneburg. The flames already fell violently from the building when the fire brigade was alerted at 6:20 a.m. The emergency services immediately set off and found a 2,400 square meter area that burned in a light.
The hall, which was filled with paper and textiles, was a major challenge for the firefighters.
