Nosferatu spider spreads out in Lower Saxony-this is how you recognize it!

In autumn and winter it becomes uncomfortable for all spider phobics: the Nosferatu spider, known for their eerie appearance and their biting teeth, spreads out in Lower Saxony! This hairy creature, which originally comes from the Mediterranean, has aroused mind since its first sighting in Germany in 2005 and is now also causing excitement here.

With a height of two to six centimeters, the Nosferatu spider is one of the largest spider species in Germany. Her eerie appearance, paired with the ability to penetrate human skin, makes it a fear opponent in her own four walls. But don't panic: According to Nabu, her bite is comparable to a wasp sting and does not represent a serious danger for people. These spiders only bite if they feel extremely threatened.
