First snow in Lower Saxony: Weather turn brings frost and thunderstorms!

Hannover, Deutschland - A dramatic change of weather is imminent! After a sudden fall in temperature, the meteorologists quit the first snow in the north. The cloudy autumn days with cold wind and falling temperatures are just the beginning - the first winter signs are already in sight!

In Hanover and Bremen, the weather remains cloudy and foggy, while the temperatures rise to 7 to 11 degrees. But the calm will soon be disturbed by thunderstorms! The German Weather Service (DWD) warns of frosty nights and widespread fog, especially in the resin. On Sunday, November 10th, it stays foggy in the southeastern region, while the North Sea comes up with steady showers. The night then brings temperatures between 3 and 7 degrees, even up to 9 degrees on the islands.

First snow in sight: announced in the temperature!

The weather forecast for the coming week does not bike anything good: a temperature crash is imminent! From Thursday, the thermometer could fall below 0 degrees regularly at night. The weather experts expect rainfall that increase the likelihood of snow. Especially on the night of Friday, November 15th, the first snowflakes in Hanover could fall. And it gets even more violent: up to two centimeters of fresh snow in just six hours are possible!

In Bremen, on the other hand, the first snow remains unlikely, but here too there could be minimal snowfalls on Friday night. The anticipation for the first snow is noticeable, while Lower Saxony is preparing for a frosty week!
