Stader Chemiepark receives German works council award for future project!

Stade, Deutschland - A radiant success for the works council network of the Stader Chemical Park! At the prestigious awarding of the German Works Council Award 2024, the model project "Future perspective and location development of the Stade chemical and industrial location" was awarded the silver price. The five works council chairs, including Ingo Döhring and Jonas von Holt, traveled to Bonn to accept this significant honor. District Administrator Kai Seefried congratulated and praised the commitment of the works councils.

The project, which was launched in 2022, is a nationwide unique project that sets the course for a future-oriented development of the Stade chemical and industrial location. Almost 100 works councils from all over Germany applied for the price, which underlines the importance of this award. The works council chairman represent almost 3,000 jobs in companies such as Dow Germany and Aluminum Oxid Stade. The ceremonial award ceremony took place on November 7th in the former plenary hall of the Bundestag in Bonn, under the patronage of Federal Minister of Labor Hubertus Heil. The German Works Council Prize has been awarded annually since 2009 and is considered the most important award for operational participation in Germany.
