MINT rally: Discover Buxtehude with Möwe Ella, Hase and hedgehog!

Buxtehude, Deutschland - The exciting Mint rally, which has already conquered the Hanseatic city of Stade, is now spreading its wings into downtown Buxtehuder! The charming seagull Ella has teamed up with two new friends - the famous rabbit and the hedgehog - to bring young inventors closer to the fascinating worlds of mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology. This digital journey of discovery not only promises fun, but also a deep understanding of MINT subjects!

The MINT rally comes according to Buxtehude

The committed team around the rabbit and hedgehog met with the talented game app programmer Angelika Schäfer from Udata to develop a new MINT rally course. Together with the students of the Buxtehude Süd high school and their teacher Tim Bodenstein, an exciting path through the city center is planned. The app should start in the coming year and wake the children's curiosity!

But that's not all! Angelika Schäfer gave the 10th grade of the high school a fascinating insight into the world of game programming. In addition, Jule Lengsfeld reported on her extraordinary courses in biotechnical chemistry as well as biochemistry and molecular biology. She inspired her enthusiasm for the 3D simulation of liver cells with these lesser-known courses-a real incentive for the young talents!

With the MINT rally, Möwe Ella, Hase and Hedgehog playfully bring exciting science topics to Buxtehude and thus promote interest and understanding of natural sciences and technology in young people. This innovative project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and is part of the MINT cluster, which is composed of the Buxehuder Hochschule 21 and the Composites United Association.
