Five years of neighborhood angels: a festival of the community in Hechthausen!

A radiant anniversary in Hechthausen! The neighborhood angels recently celebrated their fifth anniversary with a spectacular open house that exceeded all expectations. What started as an initiative in 2015 to promote neighborhood ideas has developed into an institution that is known far beyond the limits of the small town. The association "Neighborhood Hechthausen e.V.", founded by the "primeval angels" in 2019, has created a lively meeting point with its "Engelstüvchen" that has become indispensable in the community.

The celebrations were a real festival of the community! Numerous guests flocked to the festively decorated shops, which was decorated with motifs around the number five. In his greeting, association chairman Uwe Dubbert thanked the tireless volunteers who have played a major role since the very beginning. The event was opened by Mayor Erwin Jark and Samtgemeinde Mayor Jan Tiedemann and offered a colorful supporting program for young and old. The youth center of the Samtgemeinde delighted with a tattoo offer, while day care Hechthausen and the senior advisory board were represented with information stands. A quartet of young musicians from Ukraine provided musical highlights and captivated the audience with vocal singing.

The mood was exuberant when a magician with his tricks and jokes provided further entertainment. A slide presentation recalled the highlights of the club's history and caused nostalgic moments. The cake buffet was rich and invited to feast while the guests enjoyed the warm atmosphere. The feedback was overwhelming and showed that the angelic stoner is not only a meeting point, but a symbol of cohesion and community. With the motto "Our Engelstüvchen - more than just a meeting point!" The neighborhood angels continue their commitment and further strengthen the community in Hechthausen.
