New Presidium at the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences: Dynamic team starts!
A new chapter begins in the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences. The new occupation of the Presidium brings a breath of fresh air and promising changes. Professor Dr. Susanne Düchting and Professor Dr. Kathrin Loer was deployed by the Board of Trustees as Vice Presidents, while the previous Vice President, Prof. Dr. Ingmar Ickerott and Prof. Dr. Bernd Lehmann, who were also able to confirm their positions. University President Prof. Dr. Alexander Schmehmann expressed himself optimistically about the start of the new term and emphasized the importance of transparency and communication within the committee.
The new management model of the university is particularly remarkable, which provides for a clear separation of the functions of Vice Presidents and Deans. This means that Prof. Lehmann and Prof. Ickerott will hand over their roles in the faculties in the near future to fully concentrate on the strategic tasks of their new positions. "We want everyone involved to react more flexibly to changes and maintain an open culture of errors that will benefit our university," says Schlehmann.
