Since Wednesday, October 2, the 12-year-old has been missing who lives in a residential group in Jever. For the last time she was seen in the high school on Kniprodestrasse in Wilhelmshaven, where she was spotted by her sister during the break.
Nevertheless, their school matters remained, which gave rise to concern. In the afternoon, the Lea-Sophie residential group officially reported to what a large-scale search triggered in the region. The local press reported on the incident and called for support from the population.
The search for Lea-Sophie
At lunchtime, the police received a hint from a witness that Lea-Sophie had seen around 1 p.m. near a Greek restaurant on Kniprodestrasse. The police called for quick help and asked the citizens to keep their eyes open. On Thursday morning the officers took the shocking case and searched the surroundings intensively.
The efforts were not for nothing: thanks to the suspect, the federal police Lea-Sophie was able to find at the Oldenburg train station. Surprisingly, she was accompanied by another girl.
