Herry cruelty to animals in the Elsfleth slaughterhouse: Prosecutor determined!

Elsfleth, Deutschland - Oldenburg (ots)

A cruel image of horror has brought the animal rights organization aninova to light! 14 days ago, shocking video recordings were published in a slaughterhouse in Elsfleth, Lower Saxony, which show how animals were massively tortured. The recordings reveal an incredible massacre in which sheep and cattle were treated up to 160 times with electrical drivers and were even kicked and beaten. "It is a massacre that was held there at the animals," shocked Jan Peifer, CEO of Aninova.

Set, because the abysses that are revealed here are outrageous! The animals were not only brutally treated when driving, but also with anesthesia there were disaster wrong decisions. Sheep and cattle resisted until the end and showed signs of life, while the laryns were administered to the animals. "I have rarely seen such a brutal handling of animals," says Peifer. The recordings also show how even the official veterinarian looks away in this gruesome scenery and does not intervene.

Investigations by the public prosecutor's office!

The outrageous revelations quickly led to the closure of the slaughterhouse by the authorities, which reacted immediately after Aninova informed the veterinary office. "To this day, the slaughterhouse is tight and that's a good thing," explains Peifer. Thanks to a criminal complaint, the Oldenburg public prosecutor has now initiated investigations (AZ 1106 JS 74112/24). "Animal cruelty should not remain undisputed; we are calling for the highest punishment for those responsible!" the Aninova board insists on justice.

The terrifying conditions when delivering the animals are also documented in the recordings. These were often left alone in panic, stuck and injured each other. "We can no longer watch how the animals are treated without a spark of compassion", Peifer continues to do so. The cruel practices must finally be public - for the innocent who suffer!
