Northeim Christmas market: Festive mood without live music!

Münsterplatz, 37154 Northeim, Deutschland - Northeimer Münsterplatz will become a magical Christmas village from November 25th! By December 23, visitors can enjoy the pre -Christmas season in a festive atmosphere. The starting signal for the Christmas market is given at 6 p.m., which, however, has to do without the usual live music this year. City marketing managing director Michael Eilers explains that the high GEMA fees would go beyond the costs. "No music is not an option for us," emphasizes Eilers.

The traditional "X-Mashoming-Party" on December 23 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. will take place, with a well-known DJ that creates atmosphere. Mayor Simon Hartmann will open the winter spectacle, accompanied by festive music of the students of the Cardinal Bertram School and the "Swing Soulists". At the lovingly decorated stands there is everything your heart desires: from fire tangenbowle to mulled wine to regional delicacies and handmade gifts. There is a large children's carousel for the little visitors and visits from Santa Claus who fulfills small wishes.

A highlight this year is the synthetic ice stick, which houses the 5th KSN Cup in ice stick shooting. Here 36 teams compete for the coveted challenge cup. The train can also be reserved for private events. The Christmas market is open from Monday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. All information about the program and registration for the ice stock competition are available in the flyer of the city marketing, which is available or can be downloaded online at the Reddersen-Haus from November 25th.
