Houston Astros: Stadium becomes Daikin Park - a new name from 2024!

The Houston Astros have an exciting news for their fans: From January 1, the stadium will be officially renamed Daikin Park! This spectacular renaming comes through a new contract with Daikin Comfort Technologies North America, which is valid until the 2039 season. The Astros have found a long -term partner who ensures a fresh wind in the stadium.

The stadium, which was originally opened in 2000 as an Enron Field, has had an eventful story. After the bankruptcy of Enron in 2002, the name was changed quickly, and it was briefly known as Astros Field. In June 2002 it was given the name Minute Maid Park, named after the subsidiary of Coca-Cola, which will remain partners of the Astros by 2029. The new deal with Daikin brings fresh swing and shows how important sponsorship is in sports.

A new partner for the Astros

Daikin Comfort Technologies, a subsidiary of the Japanese company Daikin Industries Ltd., is a leading provider of air conditioning systems and will now shape the face of the stadium. This partnership not only promises a new era for the Astros, but also exciting developments for fans who can look forward to an improved stadium experience. The Astros focus on innovation and quality to offer their loyal supporters the best.
