FC Sturm Hauzenberg celebrates Derby victory: Passau has to give up!

In the exciting Landesliga Wednesday game between FC Sturm Hauzenberg and 1.FC Passau, which took place in front of 600 spectators in the Passauer three-fluid stadium, the leaders kept its dominance and won the derby with 3-1. Hauzenberg was able to develop a solid lead of seven points, while the second-placed FC Dingolfing had to remain with a disappointing 0-2 defeat against Parsberg.

While the action in Passau for Hauzenberg was expected-a 2-0 score at half-time indicated the coming victory-but the Passauer had to deal with another setback. After an unfortunate knee, Haris Abdagic was seriously injured and had to leave the field on crutches. Abdagic was already one of the many players who failed due to knee -related injuries this season, and now the Passauer has to accept another loss.

an exciting derby

The derby, which took place on Thursday afternoon, began with a sharp cross from Senad Sallaku. This was unhappily deflected by the Passau player Nikolas Löblein into his own goal, which gave the guests the early lead goal (12th minute). Hauzenberg then dominated the game, even though they themselves shone with a few chances. It took up to the 41st minute until Julian Liebenow converted the due penalty and expanded the lead to 2-0.

In the second round there were some controversial scenes, including a supposed goal by Jan Wehner, which was canceled for handball. The guests recently played with a certain negligence, which offered the Passauer the opportunity to find back into the game. Fabian Stahl scored the connecting goal in the 72nd minute, which brought back the hopes of home fans to an entertaining way. But Hauzenberg countered in added time when Fabian Wiesmaier made the final score of 3: 1 and secured another away win.

Defeats for Seebach and Dingolfing

The games of other teams also took place in the league at the same time. TSV Seebach had to surrender 1: 4 in Roding and could not build on the success of the last games. In another important game, Dingolfing lost 0-2 against Parsberg, although they had to play numerous chances and had to play outnumbered. The red card for Frode Füllner shortly hurt FC Dingolfing shortly before the break, and the result was a disappointing outcome of the game.

In another duel, SpVgg GW Deggendorf against Luhe-Wildenau was on the pitch, where it was 0-1. Deggendorf could not build up the necessary pressure to put the guests into trouble. Here, too, the game outcome for the home team remained disappointing.

This round of the Landesliga Mitte has caused unrest in many players and teams, but FC Sturm Hauzenberg in particular is currently radiating confidence and strength. Even if the upcoming games are at the door, it will be interesting to see how the leagues develop and whether the problem of injury can be solved for some clubs. The gap between the top teams and the rest of the field could further increase if no decisive measures are taken.
