Kreis Holzminden. An exciting new hiking adventure has brought the Solling Vogler region going! The innovative hiking stamp system "Hiking treasures" has been inspiring nature lovers since mid-September. A total of 50 stations are waiting to be discovered and the first hikers are already on their feet! Within a few weeks, the passionate hiker Jens Schmecht from Katlenburg-Lindau reported with a sensational message: "I did it!". This was completely surprised by the initiators of the project, the Solling Vogler region's tourism center and the Solling-Vogler nature park.

Jens, an experienced hiker with a preference for the Harz, used all of his days off and weekend to explore the wonderful landscapes. With the help of the navigation app "Komoot", he discovered many unknown places and even created a detailed Excel list to combine all stamping stations efficiently. "I was particularly enthusiastic about the Vogler. It was a challenge to combine the stations clever," he says. His goal was to visit all stations until October 10, the day of the hiking badge. And he did it!

1. Wilder deer of the hiking treasures

Another hiking center, Detlef Hoppe from Hardegsen, came proudly in the tourist information in Neuhaus after five weeks. His fully stamped hiking book testifies to his adventures in the Hutenwald, where he came into contact with rear cattle and Exmoor ponies. "A great project! I want more stations!" He says enthusiastically. The project supervisors Nadine Paul and Manuel Liebig are impressed by the endurance of the two hikers. "It is not a competition, but Jens Schmecht has more than deserved the title" 1st Wild Hirsch "," they emphasize.
