Oelkassen, Deutschland - In Oelkassen it will be really exciting now! Since the beginning of October, Kreisstraße 17 has been brought up to scratch with full closure. On Thursday, November 14th, the next construction phases III and IV will start, and that means: a massive change in traffic for all drivers! The road is completely blocked for through traffic from the confluence of the K 22 towards Scharfoldendorf. So if you think you could just drive through, you are mistaken!

The diversion for the new construction phases leads via the K 22 and the B 240 to Kirchbrak and back. This means detours and patience for everyone who is traveling in the area. And that's not all! In close cooperation with the regional bus company, a replacement stop in the intersection of the K17/K22 is set up so that passengers are not left in the rain.

The district of Holzminden bears the costs for this important measure, which not only improves road quality, but is also intended to increase traffic safety.
