Power failure after fire: Vogler shooters are fighting for recovery!
Holenberg. A dramatic power failure fetched the Vogler shooting in the dark for weeks! Her club house without electricity was four full weeks, because the associated electricity box was burned down until the unknown! "Everything was destroyed on the inside, and the fire traces were clearly visible," explains Andreas Kretzer, the committed chairman of the Vogler shooters. The shock came through the suddenly missing electricity and the mysterious circumstances of the fire.
But what was the cause of the infernal chaos? There is still no clear answer. "According to the operator, it could not have been a thunderstorm or lightning strike," said Kretzer. Instead, technical problems or even a curious animal that penetrates the installation could be responsible. This uncertainty hovers over the club like a shadow and only lets the questions bubble.
hand in hand for restoration
After all, the Vogler shooters had to become active themselves! In the style of true heroes, they took the restoration of the power supply into their own hands. The association, whose original installation was already carried out in the 1990s, organized everything manually under the direction of Kretzer. In search of support, the association turned to sponsors and was generously supported by the Lower Saxony Lotto Sport Foundation, which took over almost half of the costs of 4,450 euros. The foundation steered an incredible 2,000 euros!
After an intensive use of helpers and the collaboration with the energy supplier Westphalia Weser and the Ruhr electrical engineering, the rescuers found the lines at an impressive 140 centimeters deep! After four long weeks, the light finally returned to the Vogler shooters' house. "No activities could take place during this time," reports Kretzer relieved. Many thanks went to all the helpers who put an end to this fate and made the club shine again!
