SPD celebrates new office: a sign of democracy and community!

Holzminden. A festive occasion for the SPD: The Hotminden sub-district has inaugurated its new party headquarters on the market place! With a warm welcome in which the workers' choir sang traditional songs such as "Brothers, to the sun, for freedom", the new "Martha Warneck House" was celebrated. The freshly baked waffles in the SPD design and historical devotionals, including memorabilia by Willy Brandt and Helmut Schmidt, created a nostalgic mood. The party members not only celebrated the new premises, but also the long tradition of the SPD in the region.

In restless times, the SPD presents itself with new strength! Instead of 94 square meters, the new party center now offers impressive 174 barrier -free square meters on one level on two levels. Co-chairman Benjamin Beinke emphasized that the central location on the market square and the large shop windows significantly increase the visibility of the party. "The enlargement now offers us more opportunities for events," he added. At the opening, numerous prominent guests were present, including MEP Bernd Lange and Member of the Bundestag Johannes Schraps, who brought their congratulations to the comrades.

MPs have their office

The new premises are not only a place of political encounter, but also an active office for the MPs who offer office hours here. "We want to make politics tangible and show that we are there for the local people," said the message of the sub -district. The headquarters are open from Monday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The first events in the new headquarters, such as "Pizza and Democracy" with MDB Johannes Schraps, are already planned, followed by other important topics such as a lecture on right -wing extremism. Holzminden, watch out - the SPD is ready to start its political mission with fresh ideas and a clear focus on the citizens!
