New bicycles for Holzminden's transport school: security for children!
Holzminden. An exciting update for the youth traffic school on the Stahler bank: Five brand new bicycles were "Weser-Solling" hand over! The ten new youth bikes already procured in October complement these fresh bike, which were purchased thanks to generous sponsorships. The new bikes are equipped with a three-speed circuit and shine in a striking blue-perfect for the small road users!
The joy was great when Chairman Jens-Peter Meffert and Managing Director Martina Kuhlebrock received the support of 1,200 euros from VR-Bank in southern Lower Saxony. These funds come from the profit savings "We do good" and make it possible to gradually modernize the fleet of the transport school. Regional manager Jan-Daniel Bremer ceremoniously handed over the bicycles to the bank's main office and emphasized the regular promotion of the traffic watch, which not only takes place at the start of school.Security through traffic education
In the youth traffic school, practical traffic lessons for elementary school students are offered four days a week between April and November. This year, over 1,400 students will be trained to familiarize them with the traffic rules and the safe behavior in road traffic. "Fortunately, we have had no serious traffic accidents on our streets on our streets for years," says Meffert proudly. The new bicycles play a crucial role in this important traffic education and help to ensure the safety of the children on the streets.
