An exciting musical experience is imminent! On December 1, 2024, the Bistro Pier 1 in Höxter became the scene of the first classical Matinée, which heralds Advent with an unforgettable concert! The operators rely on an innovative concept: high-class music is combined with an exquisite 3-course menu, and all of this in a festive atmosphere. Admission is already at 10 a.m., and the concert starts at 11 a.m. - a perfect start in the first Advent!

Head of the Musikschule Holzminden and talented flutist Alexander Käberich brings an outstanding ensemble on stage! Together with Zivana Schmilgun (violin), Francesca Marino (viola) and Minja Spasic (cello), he will present an exquisite program that only includes works from classical music. The audience can look forward to the famous flute quartet C major and D major by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, while the string trio D major by Ludwig van Beethoven is also on the program. A very special highlight are the barely known duets of Franz Danzi for flute and violoncello - a musical discovery that initiates the Advent season with ease and virtuosity!
