Autumn glow in Holzminden: A festival of flavors and joy!

Holzminden, Deutschland - Holzminden turned into a true gourmet paradise last weekend! Autumn glow attracted the masses with a spectacular street food festival when twelve food trucks presented their delicious creations on the market square. From lush burritos to sweet Loukoumades - visitors were spoiled for choice! The atmosphere was magical, the gourmets celebrated until night among the glittering lights of the trees and the mild weather. The musician Sebastian Hegener provided the perfect musical end of this culinary festival on Sunday.

But that wasn't all! The Sunday open offered the opportunity to explore the city center. From 12 noon to 5 p.m., numerous shops, including fashion boutiques and second-hand shops, opened their doors and attracted them with tempting offers. Information stands and stalls of local craftsmen rounded off the autumn event and made Sunday an unforgettable experience.

In addition, the Weser-Solling traffic watch was on site with its exciting campaign "Bicycle ... but sure!". Here, visitors were able to experience the differences between reflective and non-reflective materials in a dark tent and check their bicycles for traffic safety. A bicycle simulator with VR glasses brought the participants different dangerous situations in road traffic.

Another highlight was the five -year anniversary of the Holzminden Geocaches. The coveted coins were returned to their original owners on Sunday. The return of the coins, some of which had covered impressive routes of over 160,000 kilometers, was duly celebrated. Geocacher and interested parties came together to exchange their experiences and bring the final box of the Holzminden Geocach to a new location. A weekend full of pleasure, entertainment and community!
