Holzminden. A dramatic day is imminent! On Tuesday, November 19, at 5 p.m., the city council of Holzminden gathers in the council meeting hall of the town house, Neue Strasse 17, for the penultimate session of the year. There are an incredible 50 points on the agenda, including the decisive budget statute and the budget for 2025. The city is fighting with a huge minus of 10.625 million euros in the earnings budget and 11.297 million euros in the financial budget. The fat years are over and the city must act urgently!

In order to improve the financial situation, an increase in the lifting rates for real taxes is proposed. The last adaptation dates from 2007! An increase of 15 percent for property tax A and B and 10 percent for trade tax is planned. A change in the change from UWG/Wistuba will also vote. The city must now set the course for a better financial future!
