Digital media for seniors: Free workshops in Holzminden!

Holzminden. In an exciting initiative, students of the HAWK bring the digital world closer to the seniors! Free media morning morning will take place on November 7th and 14th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. under the motto "Smart in old age- digital media and I" on November 7th and 14th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Here the older generations can learn how to use their smartphone effectively - an absolute must in today's world!

These events are not just a one -off campaign, but a regular initiative that the students have launched since 2023. As part of their bachelor's degree, they recognized how important digital media are for the participation of senior citizens. "We would like to create an informal environment in which questions about digital media can be asked and technology has been tried out," explain the committed students.

The employees of the "turntable" are enthusiastic about the cooperation and the previous successes! The weekly meetings, known as "1 × 1 of digital media and I", take place every Thursday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and are a hit among the participants. The events offer an excellent opportunity to bridge the digital gap and convey the necessary knowledge to the older citizens to keep up in the modern world.
