Alarming conditions: Schools in Bevern fight for better equipment!

Bevern, Deutschland - In Bevern it is bubbling! Last Thursday, concerned teachers of the elementary and high school gathered with the parent representatives to discuss the alarming conditions of the school buildings. Particular attention was paid to the catastrophic equipment and the hygienic conditions that are intolerable for around 500 students. Stefan Bohnefeld from the Samtgemeinde Bevern was also present and listened to the haunting appeals.

The situation is explosive: the break hall is also used as a cafeteria and is only separated from the classroom by pin boards. Here the students eat next to the toilets, which many parents find unsanitary. And that's not all! The students have to be satisfied with only two toilet facilities, which are often in a miserable state. A storage chamber was even converted as a disabled toilet - a scandal that can no longer be ignored!

demands for changes

Despite repeated discussions with the Holzminden district, the school situation remains unchanged. The teachers and school management, Ira Pahlow and Nicolas Knaup, urgently demand a cafeteria, reasonable toilets and a break hall or auditorium with a stage. "We don't ask anything impossible!" They emphasize. But the district seems incapable of action, refers to personnel bottlenecks and lets the schools down.

Stefan Bohnefeld assured that it continues to work for the schools and maintain contact with the district. But the teachers and school management know that it takes more than just words! They call the parents to become active and to work for better learning and living conditions of their children. It is high time for changes in Bevern!
