Thedinghausen, Deutschland - Last Sunday, the traditional heom took place in Thedinghausen, in which numerous athletes performed excellent performance in changeable weather. Despite the challenging conditions with rain and strong winds, many participants gathered to face the challenge of the ten kilometers. The motivation of all ages that were ready to achieve their best times was particularly obvious.
The day started early with the lion run, an 800 meter long route that was intended for the youngest participants. At 11 a.m. the starting shot for the little runners, who divided into ten groups. A colorful audience of parents, relatives and friends was gathered to cheer on the young athletes and pursue their progress. This cheerful atmosphere was clearly noticeable and contributed to the positive atmosphere.

The mayor Anke Fahrenholz was also present and gave the starting signal for the ten-kilometer run. "This is a great event and I really appreciate the commitment of the volunteers," she said. She left her own sporting goal for the next year, which meant additional motivation for the participants.
Ultimately, the ten-kilometer run was characterized by an exciting competition: Phil Uhlenwinkel from Syke won the route in 38:16 minutes. In the women, Marie-Madeleine Lüters reached a peak time of 40:30 minutes and confirmed her talent and ambition.
Overall, the event impressively showed that athletes do not give in to any external conditions, but even let them spur them. The Thänhuser Schloss-Erbhof run is not only an exciting competition event, but also a wonderful opportunity for community formation and the exchange between the runners and their supporters.
