Spectacular traffic accident in Hildesheim: driver escapes to chaos!

A spectacular traffic accident made the streets of Hildesheim excited in the early morning of October 31, 2024! At 6:20 a.m., a red Mercedes C-Class, which came from the direction of the motorway, raced into a roundabout with full force. The driver, apparently unfocused, lost control and ran over the entire green area, with some concrete parts of the curb shot out!

The true horror started when the rapid journey continued over the Senator Braun-Allee and Goslarsche Straße towards Immengarten! The accident car left a trace of the destruction - tires were roared and damaged the street. At the confluence with Immengarten/Goschentor, the car crosses the road and then drives wildly over the sidewalk, and it was forced between trees and street lamps!

An end full of drama

Then the shocking climax came: The Mercedes raced down the stairs and finally crashed into a parked vehicle on the Hohnsen street! Unbelievable, but true: Fortunately, no pedestrians or other road users were injured in all of this chaos, which is probably due to the less used streets on this holiday morning.

eyewitnesses reported immediately! A witness who reported the incident by emergency call followed the uncontrolled driver and was able to give vague information about the driver. But when the police officers arrived, there was nothing to see from the driver. It was only much later that someone returned and claimed that they were the driver of the Mercedes. It remains to be seen whether this claim is true - the Hildesheim police have already initiated the investigation and secures all evidence!
