Pure excitement: Derby between SV Bavenstedt and SV Newroz is imminent!

An exciting derby is just around the corner! SV Bavenstedt welcomes SV Newroz in the Landesliga on Saturday, and the signs could not be more exciting. Newroz, the climber, has been unbeaten for an incredible 13 games and is enthroned in the impressive second place in the table. In order to continue putting pressure on the league leader Wetschen, who is eight points ahead, only one victory counts for the Newrozer. Co-coach Adem Cabuk, who traveled to Turkey after a disappointing 1-1 against OSV Hannover, is ready to lead his team to victory:

"We have gained stability and want to continue our positive trend. The derby will be exciting and the fans can look forward to a gripping game!" But not everything runs according to plan: Erik Henschel has to watch due to a yellow lock, and Lukas Hunger's return remains uncertain.

The BAV coach sees opportunities

On the other hand, BAV coach Dennis Kleinschmidt is faced with a challenge. His team has not won for five games and wants to retaliate after the 2-1 defeat in the first leg. "The anticipation is huge! I hope that many spectators will come, like the start of the season. It was a highlight for all of us," explains Kleinschmidt. Despite the statistics that speak clearly for Newroz, he knows that derbies have their own laws:

"We delivered a decent game in the first leg, but still had to leave the pitch as a loser. This time we want to keep something countable in Bavenstedt!" But the weather could thwart the bill. Kleinschmidt is concerned about the rain and hopes for dry conditions until the game: "The chances are currently at 50/50."
