The stolen wood is noble beech and ash wood, which was apparently transported in a large scale between the end of March and mid-September of this year.

Two hidden crime scenes in the forest area around Diekholzen were identified. One lies between Diekholzen and the Hildesheimer Wald, not far from the state road 460.
