Eintracht Hildesheim conquers the lead with a spectacular victory!

Hildesheim, Deutschland - Eintracht Hildesheim mixed up the 3rd handball league Northwest! With an impressive 37: 32 victory over the 2nd team of MT Melsungen, the team took over the lead. Despite an injured misery that affected six players, the Hildesheimers showed a strong performance in their home game.

The first 20 minutes were anything but easy. The guests from Hessen equalized to 12:12, but Eintracht could not be removed. With a halftime score of 19:16, they had regained control of the game. Goalkeeper Jan Wesemann was the star of the evening and parried numerous balls in the second half, which put the 1050 spectators in ecstasy. Newcomer Marvin Gabriel and Tristan Wippermann, who moved out of the second team, also contributed to success.

Jakub Tonar in top form

Jakub Tonar shone in the attack and scored nine goals, while Florian Billepp and Piet Möller shone with six goals each. After 35 minutes, district runner Robin Müller set a strong sign with his goal for 23:17 that marked the preliminary decision. Although it got a bit hectic in the final minutes, Eintracht kept the upper hand. Melsungens Rene Andrei fouls Möller, which the fans commented loudly, but the referees only decided on a two-minute penalty. Hendrik Hanemann also had to go to the penalty bench, but the Hildesheimers had long since had the game under control and celebrated a deserved victory!

The defeat of the previous league leader Bielefeld in Emsdetten has now conquered Eintracht Hildesheim. A triumphal evening for the Hildesheim handball players who support their ambitions with this performance!
