From 9:50 p.m., two radio patrol cars started a targeted traffic control, which was carried out on Hildesheimer Straße, corner in front of the Kirschberg. The aim of the measure was to reveal potential offenses in connection with alcohol and drugs.

And suddenly, around 10:30 p.m., a driver from Hildesheim came to the checkpoint. What happened? The man directly confessed to the consumption of amphetamine -containing substances - a blatant moment! A urine test on site temporarily confirmed what the police already suspected. The suspicion of a violation of Section 24a of the Road Traffic Act was justified, and the driver had to leave his car immediately. His blood was removed in order to receive court -proof results soon. The investigation runs and all eyes are now focused on the laboratory results!

Only some minor traffic offenses were punished on site.
