In Lower Saxony, almost half of all people from the age of 14 are volunteering, which not only benefits society, but also helps the community financially, since it is not taxed on donations and membership fees.

The club's ongoing projects include regular garbage collection campaigns and the maintenance of public places. The club has set itself the goal of freeing the bus shelter in the village of graffiti; The costs for the materials are covered by the local board by reimbursement. The men provide both the workforce and the equipment themselves, which further reaffirms their decision to actively work for their surroundings.
