The police are alarm! Terrifying security deficiencies were uncovered in intensive controls of commercial freight traffic in the Heidekreis! Under the direction of the Bad Fallingbostel police commissioner, the officials from Autobahn 7 in Evendorf to Berkhof and the A27 from the triangle Walsrode West were deployed. It was a week full of rigorous checks that not only revealed the hustle and bustle of the transport, but also the alarming conditions of the vehicles on the streets.

A total of 148 trucks were checked, and the result is puzzled: In breathtaking 89 cases, the police documented security -relevant violations! Vehicles that were anything but roadworthy and a real excess of approved transport practices made it clear how serious the situation is. The combination of cost and time pressure takes on dangerous dimensions that are unforeseeable risks in road traffic.

But that's not all: the drivers often did not meet the prescribed steering and rest times. "The high complaint rate has again shown that further controls will continue to be essential in the future!" Explained a concerned police chief commissioner Arne Röhrs.
