Murderfall from the 90s: Hanover hopes for information on ZDF broadcast!

A decades of murder is rolled up again! In the upcoming ZDF program "File number XY ... Unresolved" on Wednesday, November 6th, the tragic discovery of a woman's body that was made in Hanover in 1994 will be discussed. Two students came across the skeletonized remains of a woman on the "Bothfelder Heide" of the Bundeswehr.

The police assume a murder and repeated the public to help. The body found in a pit over a meter deep was tied up with handcuffs. The investigators estimate that the woman died at least two years before her discovery, i.e. between 1989 and 1992. Notes on the victim's identity are still pending, but it is described as about 30 to 55 years old, slim and with red -brown hair. Particularly striking: she was wearing a T-shirt with the inscription "Little Italy-New York City".

Investigations in the focus: Police are looking for indications

The identity of the woman remains a mystery. The police hope to receive new information from the population through the television presentation. The case is part of the international search campaign "Identify Me", which is carried out in cooperation with six European countries and interpol.
