From January 1, 2025, Alba Niedersachsen-Anhalt GmbH takes over the collection of yellow recycling bags in the Hameln-Pyrmont district. This change takes place every three years as part of a tender of the dual system, and this year Alba was awarded the contract. The circle assumes an annual volume of around 5,000 to 5,300 tons of light packaging made of plastic and metal, which are to be attributed to the cycle. The changeover should be as smooth as possible. In the previous change, there were difficulties as collection vehicles and the necessary navigation software were not available, which led to dissatisfied citizens. This time, the new dark blue vehicles from Alba are already ready to ensure traffic and efficiency of the collection. The tours are inserted into the logistics software, so that Alba can seamlessly build on the preparatory work of the previous service provider Prezero, which is only active until the end of the year.
