Heaven spectacles over Hachmühlen: Comet and Supermond united!

Hachmühlen, Deutschland - In the small town of Hachmühlen, an impressive sky acted has attracted astronomy enthusiasts. On Tuesday evening, the NDZ employee Sebastian Wilk was able to take a breathtaking photo of the comet Tsuchinshan Atlas. The photographer was traveling between Altenhagen I and Hachmühlen, whereby a higher location offered ideal conditions for sighting without disturbing artificial light. In his picture, the comet can be seen over the villages Flegessen and Klein Süntel, recorded with a five -year exposure time and a wide -angle lens that perfectly integrates the surrounding landscape.

Although the comet gradually loses brightness, it will remain visible in the coming days with the naked eye in clear weather conditions. The comet continues shortly after the sunset in the western evening sky; Wilk's recording was made at 7.45 p.m. Interestingly, the comet becomes visible from day to day later, but at the same time moves higher in the sky.

special sky events are before

astrology and nature lovers can look forward to a remarkable sight, since the comet Tsuchinshan-Atlas will be visible on Thursday in connection with a supermond. This occurs when the moon of the earth is very close and thus appears larger and lighter than usual - which is why it is also referred to as a supermond. In the early evening, the super moon in the southeast will open while the comet moves its train in the western sky. For the best visual conditions, it is advisable to go to a dark place where a unhindered view of the east and west is possible.

to observe these two celestial bodies together will certainly be an unforgettable experience for everyone who is interested in astronomy and appreciate the miracles of the universe. Such a sight not only offers the possibility of observation, but also amazes the amazement at the infinite expanses of the cosmos. Especially now that the days are getting shorter, we can look forward to more exciting heavenly observations.
