A very special occasion illuminated the November days in Nordhorn! VfL Weiße Elf honored its loyal members, and the focus was on a very extraordinary jubilee: Lothar Kuckuck, who is an incredible 70 years in the club! A truly remarkable milestone that not only makes Lothar, but also the entire club proud.
The festive award took place in a warm atmosphere in which the chairman Volker Friese and Harald Koning, the chairman of the honorary council, welcomed the long -standing members. After a sociable coffee, in which old stories were exchanged, the ceremonial award of the jubilees followed. Those present were able to look forward to a large number of honors: Frank and Ralf Bodenburg, Gerrit Breukelmann, Peter Engmann and Timo Stroot were honored for 25 years of loyalty, while Michael Hintzen and Andreas Thole were awarded for 40 years of membership. Jürgen Berlage and Helmut Knüver received recognition for 60 years, and Peter Dues can also look back on this impressive time.

But the highlight of the day was undoubtedly Lothar Kuckuck, who at the age of 70 tells an impressive story at VfL Weiße Elf. His tireless devotion and loyalty to the club are a shining example for all members. At a time when a lot changes, loyalty to an association like VfL White Elf remains a valuable asset. The celebrations were not only a tribute to the past, but also a sign of the future of the association, which stands on solid foundations.
