Music days in the monastery: Talents inspire with Back to the future!

Last weekend, the Frenswegen monastery experienced a special musical event that was under the motto "Back to the Future". The Grafschaffer Musiktage attracted numerous participants who developed their musicality under the instructions of experienced lecturers such as Ivo Weijmans, Peter Sleumer and Ioana Cadar. At this event, the participants had the opportunity to develop exciting pieces of music and present them to an enthusiastic audience on Sunday afternoon.

organized by the district of Grafschaft Bentheim in cooperation with the Grafschaffen Music Schools, the music days serve as a platform for young talents to further develop their skills and present them to a broader public. "The close cooperation between music-making different age groups and backgrounds promotes exchange and makes an important contribution to cultural education," said Gunda Gülker-Alsmeier, the district councilor and patron of the event. She expressed their best wishes to the 90 participants and hoped that they would not only take home musical impressions, but also to make new friendships and find inspiration for the future.

The concert program

The crowning end of the music days was the appearance of the overall orchestra, which demonstrated high musical standards. The musicians performed the famous piece "Back to the Future", composed by Alan Silvestri, as well as other important melodies from the "The Foundation" series. The presentation was rewarded by those present with a loud applause, which made the enthusiasm for the works presented.
