60 years of breed rabbit: Schüttorf celebrates great breeding show!

Schüttorf, Deutschland - a festival of breeding and pride! At the 60th district association show in the small animal breeder center at the Wietkampshalle in Schüttorf, there was great enthusiasm among the exhibitors, organizers and visitors. Under the patronage of Arthur Lieske, the 1st deputy mayor, breeders from the county of Bentheim presented their best breed channels. Over 200 animals from 32 different breeds, including the majestic German giant and the charming color dwarf, were exhibited. The organizers were more than satisfied with the number of participants!

The opening ceremony was a highlight in which exhibition manager Thomas Stübbe welcomed numerous breeders and honorary members. The creative contributions of the handicraft group, which enriched the exhibition with their artistic exhibits, were particularly appreciated. The regional association chairman Johann Vrielink honored Udo Berger for his 40-year loyalty to the club with the golden badge of honor. Tobias Meendermann, chairman of the district association, praised the long tradition of the breed rabbit breeders and emphasized the responsibility associated with the breeding of animals.

The winners of the show

The voltage rose when the winners were announced! The coveted state association prices went to the Breeding Community Heike & Jürgen Roters with their Castor Rex, the breeding community Johann & Andreas Vrielink with Alaska and Sven Meendermann with Hermelin Rotauge. In the youth category, the breeding community Noah & Theo Meendermann triumphed with its dwarf ram-colored white. The district association prices were also awarded, with Uwe Hinkel and the breeding communities Vrielink and Meendermann among the winners.

The district hiking cup went to the RKZV I153 Nordhorn with impressive 1449 points. The district champions were also crowned, including Hermann Rademaker with Hermelin Blauauge and the breeding community Noah & Theo Meendermann. A true festival of breeding that impressively showed the passion and commitment of the rabbit breeders in the region!
