Burglaries and accidents: Chaos weekend in Goslar!

Goslar, Deutschland - In Goslar it is bubbling! At the weekend, unknown perpetrators in the city drove their mischief and tried several burglaries. From Saturday evening to Sunday morning, the criminals wanted to penetrate a veterinary practice on the Grauhöfer Landwehr, a delivery service on Beslauer Straße and a restaurant on Bergtal street. But their attempts failed! With two other restaurants on the Nonnenberg and Rammelsberger Straße, they were more lucky and ransacked the interiors. The estimated damage amounts to around 5,600 euros. But that wasn't all! On Sunday afternoon there was a further attempt at burglary in the Jürgenohl district. Unknowns climbed onto the balcony of an apartment building on Virchowstrasse to penetrate an apartment. But here, too, the perpetrators remained unsuccessful and left property damage of around 300 euros. The police are investigating and looking for witnesses who have seen striking people or vehicles.

on Sunday evening, around 9:50 p.m., a serious traffic accident occurred on the Berouner Bridge in the Baßgeige district. A 27-year-old man for Goslar lost control of his Nissan for previously unknown reasons and crashed into the bridge railing. The impact was so violent that parts of the railing fell onto the railways! Fortunately, the driver and his 32-year-old passenger were able to get out of the car unharmed. The property damage is estimated at around 15,000 euros. But the matter has consequences: the driver has to expect several administrative offense procedures, and the Federal Police has initiated an investigation due to dangerous intervention in rail traffic. The Goslar police are now looking for witnesses to the incident.
