The most important construction sites in Göttingen are:

• B3/B27 Autobahn feeder: between Holensen and Lutteranger, the speed is reduced by 2028/2029 due to bridge damage, only one lane remains free out of the city.
• Annastraße in the Nordstadt: The street is closed between Daimlerstraße and Arndtstraße until June.
• Elbinger Straße: The blocking between house numbers 11 and 23 and in the intersection to Immanuel-Kant-Straße lasts until the end of April. The reason is to expand district heating.
• Merkelstraße in the Ostviertel: This street remains completely closed until May 31. The detour takes place via Herzberger Landstrasse, Friedländer Weg and Calsowstrasse.

Currently there are no planned construction sites on the A7 and A38 motorways in the region. However, there are also several construction sites in the district of Göttingen:

• Weser Bridge in Hann. Münden (B3/B80): Here the road in both directions is expected to be reduced to one track in each case in 2027, since a replacement building is required.
• B498: The section between Osterode and Goslar remains closed until the middle of the year; A detour is set up.
• L569 between Klein Lengden and Benniehausen: This results in a half -sided blockage, which was extended by February 28th due to slope protection work.
• Osterode: The level crossings Kaiserplatz and Südbahnhof are probably completely closed until January 24th; A detour is signposted.

In the district of Eichsfeld there are also construction sites. The passage through the town (L2017, Lindenberg) is expected to be locked until May, whereby a detour via Ferna, Worbis, Kirchohmfeld, Brehme, Wehnde and vice versa.
