SV 06 Holzminden Futsal Cup: Havelse and Baunatal cheer!

On January 12, 2025, the Weserbergland futsal cup of SV 06 Holzminden took place, in which numerous top teams from the youth sector took part. The trophies went to the teams of TSV Havelse (C-Juniors) and KSV Baunatal (D-Juniors). While the C-Junior competition was held in three groups, each with four teams, SV 06 Holzminden retired after three defeats in the group phase.

The team lost 1-2 against Blomberger SV, 0: 1 against Tura Elsen and 0: 4 against TSV Havelse. From group B, the teams JSG Lüchtringen/Stahne/Albaxen, JFV Lippe and JFV Union Bad Pyrmont moved into the quarter -finals. HSC Hannover, 1. SC Göttingen 05 and SV Heide Paderborn prevailed from Group C.

In the semi -finals, TSV Havelse met JFV Lippe and won 2-1, while Hanover was 4-0 against Bad Pyrmont. Tura Elsen prevailed 4-2 against Paderborn, and Lüchtringen/Stahne/Albaxen won 5: 3 against Göttingen. In the final, TSV Havelse triumphed 3-1 over Tura Elsen.

The awards for the individual players were awarded as follows: the best player was Mohamad Alshomalie from TSV Havelse, best keeper Finn Wollny, also from Havelse, and top scorer became Georgi Zetov from Tura Elsen with five goals. While the D-Juniors played the following day, the SV 06 Holzminden was able to reach the quarter-finals with six points.

In the D-Junior group, the teams JSG Lüchtringen/Stahne/Albaxen I and II, SG Lenne-Wangelnstedt, JSG Hils and FC Blau-Weiß Weser were eliminated in the group phase. SV 06 Holzminden lost to the last half -final square against FC Eintracht Northeim. In the final, the KSV Baunatal prevailed 3-0 against Northeim, while HSC Hannover won third place 2-0 against Wiedenbrück.

The awards in this competition went to Lennard Tews (Baunatal) as the best player, Orlando Gehrke (Baunatal) as the best goal scorer with eight goals and Joel Grudentaler (HSC Hannover) as the best goalkeeper. Trainers and participants expressed positive feedback about the course of the tournament. Oana Nechiti, who was present as a spectator, was also particularly noticeable because her son plays for Heide Paderborn.

In addition to this event, there will be further futsal competitions in the coming time. The website of the State Football Association reported on upcoming tournaments in various seasons that will take place in January and February 2025. The first games begin on January 18 with season I in Kröpelin and end with the final round on February 1st in Grimmen.
