On December 26, 2024, at 4:30 p.m. in the Göttingen Sparkassen-Arena of the 42nd Einbeck Brauhaus Cup. The tournament is hosted by the national league Team SVG Göttingen and the district league team FC Grone. A total of 1100 euros in prize money are available, including 500 euros for the winner, 300 euros for the second, 200 euros for the third and 100 euros for the fourth.
The tournament is held in a format with 24 teams, which are divided into six groups of four teams each. The preliminary rounds take place on December 27th and 28th from 4:30 p.m., during the final day for December 29, where the endgames begin from 4:00 p.m., but the final will only take place at 10:15 p.m. The seasons are 14 minutes in the preliminary round and 10 minutes in the final. The best teams move into the intermediate round, with an extension of 2 minutes and a subsequent nine-meter shooting in the event of a tie in knockout games.

The participants include teams from different play classes, including the previous year's winner SVG Göttingen and Göttingen 05, SSV Nörten and Bovender SV. A district league team, FC Hettensen/Ellierode, and other teams from the region are also represented, including SG Kleinalmerode/Hundelshausen/Dohrenbach from North Hesse and the 1st SC Heiligenstadt from the Thuringia-League. It is mentioned separately that the SCW Göttingen jumps for TSV Herberhausen at short notice.
The group allocations are as follows: FC Grone, SC Hainberg, FC Gleichen and TSV Holensen play in the freight forwarder Krüger Group. Göttingen 05, SV Rotenberg, TSV Nesselröden and the SG Lenglern are represented in the VGH group. The bakery Hermann Group includes Bovender SV, Sparta Göttingen, FC Hettensen/Ellierode and SCW Göttingen. The SVG Göttingen, SG Werratal, SC Rosdorf and the SG West villages compete against each other in the Sparkasse Göttingen Group. Finally, the SG Kleinalmerode/Hundelshausen/Dohrenbach, SG Groß-Ellershausen/Hetjershausen, TSV 08 Große and the SG Elliehausen/esebeck are set up in the REWE group. The Stadtwerke Göttingen Group consists of the 1st SC Heiligenstadt, SSV Nörten-Hardenberg, TSV Dramfeld and SG Hoher Hagen.
