Sad farewell: Flower shop Flora Gifhorn” closes after 14 years!

Sad news from Gifhorn! The popular flower shop “Flora Gifhorn” is closing its doors after 14 years. This is a bitter blow for the loyal customers and the dedicated team. Boss Andre Schwickenberg did not make the decision lightly, but had to realize that running his business in Braunschweig and Gifhorn at the same time was simply no longer possible. “It wasn’t our customers’ fault,” he emphasizes, “but the balancing act was too great.” The flower shop will remain open until the end of November to say goodbye to its loyal regular customers.

A sad farewell

Since opening in 2010, “Flora Gifhorn” has made a name for itself – not only because of the beautiful flowers and decorative items, but also because of the close ties between the team and the customers. This warm relationship is now coming to an abrupt end, and residents must adjust to a new reality. “It was a difficult decision,” admits Schwickenberg, who leaves the long-standing tradition behind with a tear in his eye.

But there is a ray of hope! Schwickenberg has already found a successor who will take over the business. Although it is still unclear how similar the new store will be to the old “Flora Gifhorn”, customers can breathe a sigh of relief: there will still be flowers! So the hope remains that the tradition of selling flowers in Gifhorn will continue, even if the “Flora Gifhorn” chapter soon ends.
