Hankensbüttel celebrates a record visit to the Night of Nature!

Hankensbüttel has once again proven how attractive the Otter Center can be for visitors by putting a new guest record at this year's “Worlds”. On two weekends, a total of 6,750 people flocked to the natural experience center, which means an increase of 500 guests compared to the previous year. The last day of the event was particularly impressive, on which 2,750 visitors were expected at the same time. Matthias Geng, Board of the Cotter Protection campaign, was impressed and reported that the ticket sales were so good on this day that it had to be stopped because the quota was exhausted.

The event transformed the center into a lively sea of colors. The participants were able to enjoy numerous activities, including face painting, soap casting and a small fun fair. Particularly noteworthy were the creative walk acts that danced through the crowd with their shimmering costumes and delighted the guests. In the evening there was the musical highlight of the event, in which light and fire shows on classics such as "Another Way to Die" by Disturbed and "Earth Song" by Michael Jackson were coordinated.

positive feedback from visitors

The feedback from the guests is consistently positive. So Paul Brunke from Wesendorf was enthusiastic: "We were here for the first time and we liked it very much." Marcel van Marwick from Braunschweig was also convinced: "The long journey was absolutely worth it. What those responsible have put together here for young and old is enormous." These voices underline the success of the event and the great interest of the public.

Planning for the future already provides improvements. Matthias Geng announced that the concept for the worlds of lights should be further refined in the coming years. "We want to continue writing the success story and do not rest on success. There will be two or three changes - Lichterwelten 2.0," he said.

The "Night of Nature" is becoming more and more a success story. Thanks to the high number of visitors and the positive response, there is no doubt that the Otter Center continues to be an important venue.
