gifhorn. An exciting new project picks up speed! The district of Gifhorn, in cooperation with the Samtgemeinde Meinersen, is looking for committed citizens who want to actively help shape the future of the villages as village moderators.
The initiative "Dorf moderators Lower Saxony" is supported by funding from the "Sparen+Win" lottery of the Lower Saxony Sparkassenverband. These moderators are not only link between politics, business and citizens, but also driving forces in village development. "They ensure that our villages remain alive and future -proof," explains Susanne Könecke, the volunteer coordinator of the Gifhorn district.
District Administrator Heilmann relies on civic engagement
District Administrator Tobias Heilmann is enthusiastic about the initiative: "The civic engagement is crucial for the sustainable development of our villages. The village moderators will focus on the concerns of the village community, coordinate project groups and motivate citizens to become active." This is a unique opportunity for everyone who wants to work for their homeland!
A free seminar offers interested parties the opportunity to learn the necessary skills in order to successfully act as village moderators. Topics such as communication, village analyzes and event formats are on the program. The information event will take place on Tuesday, November 19, at 6 p.m. in the Knights' Hall of the Gifhorner Castle - registration is not required!
The three -day qualification seminar starts on January 17 and closes with the certificate "Village moderators Lower Saxony". The training not only offers valuable knowledge, but also the opportunity to network with like -minded people. "We want this investment in the villages to act sustainably," emphasizes the district.
