Yesterday evening, a terrible traffic accident in Esterwegen! At 9:30 p.m., a 41-year-old driver of a Fiat Punto on Surwolder Straße raced from the road and crashed into a tree. A passerby discovered the victim who was in trapped and without signs of life in the vehicle. The rescue workers were quickly on site and freed him. Despite serious injuries, the man was available to first medical medical care and was taken to the hospital. Initial investigations indicate that alcohol was involved - a blood sample was ordered.
