New impetus in the children's and youth parliament: handover of the keys celebrated!

In a glamorous ceremony in Lingen, the new members of the children's and youth parliament were ceremoniously appointed to office! The former board handed over the symbolic "key of success" and wished the newly elected representatives good luck and inspiration for their upcoming tasks. Mayor Krone did not miss the opportunity to thank the departing members for their tireless commitment and presented them with documents as a sign of recognition for their voluntary work. Ilka Kösters, who was honored in the children's and youth parliament for her impressive eight years!

The new members are now facing an exciting challenge! From November 8th to November 10th there are getting to know each other in the program where you will develop the first ideas and projects. These days are crucial to lay the foundation for their future work and to strengthen the voice of the youth in Lingen. The expectations are high and the young parliamentarians are ready to put their visions into practice!
