In the tranquil Sulingen, a remarkable price was recently awarded, which recognizes the commitment of young talents in vocational training. The Sofie and Siegfried Seitz Foundation has again announced its winners of the Seitz Prize. The award took place in the Dahlskamp restaurant, where Henry Koester and Jana Hohnermeyer were recognized for their outstanding achievements. According to Laudator Constantin von Kuczkowski, the decision to choose the two winners was anything but simple, which illustrates the high quality of the applications.
The foundation, which was launched in 2002, has set itself the task of promoting the commercial offspring. The Seitz Prize is part of this goal, with the sum of 3,500 euros for first place and 1,500 euros for the second prize this year. These financial means should help the winners to achieve their professional goals and to finance their further training.
The winners in detail
Henry Koester, who received the first prize, went into training as an industrial clerk at Kraiburg Purasys GmbH & Co. KG in Diepholz after graduating from high school in 2021. After successfully completing his training, he was taken over as a buyer in the company. In addition to his professional career, Koester is actively involved as a respiratory protection device at the local fire brigade. With the prize money, he plans to finance a part -time bachelor's degree in industrial engineering at the Wilhelmshaven Jadehochschule. His long -term goal is to work in strategic purchasing, which not only promotes his professional development, but also the company in which he works.
also the second award winner, Jana Hohnermeyer, from Bad Essen, recognized by her career. She completed an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk at ZF Friedrichshafen in Lemförde and then completed a bachelor's degree in business administration. She is currently working as a logistics planner at ZF. With her prize money, Hohnermeyer wants to take a three-week language trip to improve her skills in business English. This further training is intended to help her strengthen her communication skills in an increasingly globalized work environment.
The solemn award took place as part of a knowledge forum in the Sulingen city theater, which was also organized by the foundation and the Sulingen initiative. With such events, not only knowledge is encouraged, but also the exchange of ideas and experiences among young experts.
The Seitz Prize, which is awarded every year, is an example of how important it is to support and promote young talents in their professional career. Such initiatives make a significant contribution to securing the professional development of the young generation and preparing them for the challenges of the labor market.
