EMS-Chemistry Domat: strong growth despite the decline in sales!

The EMS chemistry, the leading polyamide specialist from Domat in Switzerland, is extremely robust despite economic challenges! In the third quarter of 2024, under the leadership of majority shareholder Magdalena Martullo-Blocher, the company recorded a considerable increase in EBIT-a sign of successful business expansion and the increase in the number of employees. This follows a first slight improvement in the first half of the year that brightened the mood of investors.

But sales are not that lively! From January to September there was a decline of 6.3 percent to CHF 1.59 billion (EUR 1.7 billion), despite increased sales quantities. Currency effects made over half of this decline. In particular, the company's heart, the high -performance polymers, traced back with a bitter decline of 7.2 percent in the revenue compared to the same period last year.
